Ah nice photos, I know Penarol beat Inter, I think the two clubs also played for the first game inside the rebuild Beira-Rio. :-)

I think that Inter fans quite like Penarol.

BTW I ordered some Canarias the other day from urushop.co.uk, I understand it is Uruguayan and I look forward to trying some. I usually have Barao ;-)

Soy el único que esta esperando el comentario en inglés del Toto?

I've got a couple of Welsh friends in the Netherlands, where I lived for a few years. I always find it funny how the Welsh language is so different from English. I reckon you speak Welsh as well.

The comments about you not really being from Wales are just people asking if there's a possibility that you could be a fan from Nacional (our rival) trying to troll the forum. It's quite common for that kind of thing to happen between fans who like to troll each other in online forums. But I'm 100% sure you're legit. For starters you write with a British spelling, even though most people in Uruguay who attend English lessons are taught American English spelling.

Welcome to the forum!

If I can understand Uruguayan football more, I might write a blog about the Uruguayn Primera in English, lets see...

I did start before but it was quite difficult. http://uruguayansoccer.wordpress.com/

Ah ok thanks. No, I am genuine and certainly have better things to do than troll an internet forum! I don't actually speak Welsh, only a few words. Although one of my children is fluent and attends a Welsh school.

Your English is excellent btw.

Sorry, I'm not sure if Google translate is accurate - are you saying you are offended by my interest in Uruguayan football? Maybe someone who speaks English can explain your view to me. :)

No don't worry, he's not saying that at all.

He's saying that it's weird you like Uruguayan football, which is a sentiment I think we all share. We think that our local football is highly disorganized, the level of the game in general is very poor, and all the good players that are raised here are transferred very young to European teams, so we don't really get to enjoy them a lot.

So for someone who lives right next to the Premier, one of if not the best football league in the world, we find it a bit strange that you enjoy Uruguayan football so much. Nothing to be offended about. On the contrary, if you like our football then by all means we support you. And this is what "eterno como el tiempo" is saying as well ;)
